EARLY, TX -- The Early Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff's Office are searching for a wanted fugitive after he violated his bond conditions.
Patrick Boutelle had bonded out of the Lampasas County Jail for numerous charges in Lampasas and charges from Early PD of Aggravated Assault.
According to police records, Boutelle broke into a home on Crescent Drive and assaulted his wife and held her at gunpoint.
Since bonding out in Lampasas, Boutelle had returned to the house and assaulted his estranged wife again. He violated an emergency protective order and warrants were issued for these violations.
According to EPD, on Sunday night officers responded to Crescent Drive where Boutelle had been spotted by his bondsman.
The bail bondsman then attempted to make contact with Boutelle before notifying law enforcement.
Boutelle than ran from the bondsman and eventually wrecked his vehicle on Longhorn just off Park Drive. He then took off on foot before officers arrived.
Inside the vehicle, officers located a handgun, marijuana, several variations of marijuana -- including THC wax, and other substances believed to be methamphetamine and mushrooms.
More charges will be sought for violating a protective order again and multiple drug and weapon charges.
On Monday, dispatch received several reports of sightings around Brownwood near west Commerce and Lakeway area, but Boutelle has not been arrested at this time.
Anyone with information regarding Boutelle is encouraged to call 911 and report his location.
