Two Men Arrested After Soliciting A Minor Online

Anson, TX -- Two men were arrested after they allegedly solicited a 14-year-old teen for sex.

According to the Anson Police Department, 50-year-old Chad Mitchell Green of Anson and 35-year-old Brandon Wayne Fenwick of Abilene were charged with online solicitation of a minor.

According to police, an organization involved with the online safety of children provided them with credible information that the men were trying to solicit a 14-year-old via social media.

Green and Fenwick were subsequently arrested after police set up an operation. 

"The Anson Police Department would like to remind people to please monitor their children’s online presence and to practice safe measures to ensure the safety and privacy of their children online," said Police Chief Coy Sanchez.
