Airmen Indicted for Possession of Lewd Images Depicting Children

ABILENE, TX — A 23-year-old Dyess airman has been formally indicted for possession of pornographic images depicting children.

According to police back in May, the Abilene Police Department Cyber Crimes and Dyess Air Force Base’s Office of Special Investigations executed a search warrant on Yi Huang’s residence located inside the base.

At the time Dyess Air Force Based issued the following statement.

"These are serious accusations, and not in line with the US Air Force or Team Dyess standard. That said, individuals are innocent until proven guilty. We will work with the appropriate parties, as needed, to provide any applicable information and to ensure the member is afforded due process according to the justice system."

According to the indictment, 10 images of child porn were found on a laptop seized during the search.

Huang later admitted to viewing child porn, searching for it online, and sending child porn to another person online.
