SAPD: Stabbing Suspect Rearrested After Leaving Shannon

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department confirmed the arrest of a 42-year-old San Angelo man for stabbing someone on West 8th street. 

According to the SAPD, on August 28, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of West 8th Street for the report of a stabbing. 

After arriving they took the suspect Andres Rodriguez, 42, to shannon for evaluation. During his stay, Rodriguez decided to leave Shannon. 

SAPD officers later found Rodriguez near the unit block of West 13th Street. 

Rodriguez is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest. He is currently in the Tom Green County Jail in lieu of a $62,500 bond.
