San Angelo Police Searching for Northside Shooting Suspects

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 20-year-old San Angelo man was hospitalized on Wednesday morning after being shot by two unknown suspects. 

According to the SAPD, on August 26, at around 1:30 a.m. dispatchers with the SAPD received multiple calls about a possible shooting that had occurred near the 2400 block of North Lille St. 

After a short time had passed dispatchers called officers with the SAPD to Shannon Medical Center for a 20-year-old male who had been shot. 

"Subsequent to the preliminary field investigation, detectives learned that the victim had been shot during an altercation between two unknown male suspects while in the parking lot of the Nueva Vista Apartments located at 2401 North Lillie Street and that the incident was not a random act of violence." stated SAPD in a press release.

The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
