Police: 2 Year Old Shot By 3-Year-Old Sibling

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Police Department has released new details in the shooting of a toddler at the Super 8 on Ave L.

According to SAPD, when officers arrived at the scene they located a  two (2) year old child with a single gunshot wound. The toddler was transported to Shannon Medical Center but later was transferred to Cook Children’s hospital for additional treatment.

At this time no information was provided to indicate that the toddler was facing a life-threatening injury.
During the investigation, officers discovered that the victim’s three-year-old sibling had gotten access to a firearm and accidentally shot the toddler.

At this time no arrests have been made, but possible criminal charges may be pending for not preventing access to the firearm by the children.

The investigation was conducted jointly by the San Angelo Police Department Child Crimes Detectives, Criminal Investigation Division Detectives, and Crime Scene Investigators.

Child Protective Services were also contacted to aid in the investigation.

Why in blazes can't these brain dead morons realize it's idiotic to keep firearms, especially loaded ones, where kids can get to them? I want these idiots in jail.
