Woman Stabs Clerk Multiple Time While Yelling "I'm Going to Jail Anyway"
ABILENE, TX – A Clerk at a Texaco gas station was hospitalized Saturday night after he was stabbed by a 31-year-old woman on a rampage.
According to KTXS, on August 8, officers with the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to the Texaco on the corner of S. 1st Street and Sayles Blvd. for the report of a robbery.
When they arrived they found a clerk that had been stabbed. After further investigation police learned that the robbery suspect had a past at the store.
The clerk told officers that Chelsey Renee Hunter, 31, came into the store on Saturday night. He told her instantly to leave because she was banned from the store.
This is when Hunter told the clerk "I don't give a (bleep)," came around the counter and stabbed the clerk multiple times with a knife. The clerk fought back and began pushing her towards the door telling her to get out.
Hunter responded "give me all the (bleep)ing money, I'm going to jail anyway." Another customer walked in at this point and Hunter ran off.
After learning this the officers went to Hunter's home on the 100 block of Meander Street and found another victim. This time it was a male neighbor who claimed she forced her way into his home and stabbed him.
Hunter is charged with aggravated robbery and burglary of a habitation. She is currently in the Taylor County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
