Suspect Arrested After Admitting to Killing Three People

 

COMANCHE, TX — Authorities are investigating a triple homicide after the alleged killer called 9-1-1 to report the murders.

According to KTXS, on Saturday 22-year-old Brendan Jenkins called emergency services and stated he had killed three people. When deputies arrived at the home located on the in the 2900 block of FM 2921 they located the victims.

Deputies found the bodies of 63-year-old Earl Stephens III and 18-year-old Ashlyn Smith. They also located 62-year-old Patricia Stephens. She was airlifted to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where she later succumbed to her injuries. According to authorities Earl and Patricia were Ashlyn’s grandparents.

Jenkins has been charged with Capital Murder, and as of this time, no motive for the murders has been released by authorities. The homicides are being investigated by the Comanche County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers.

"The Sheriff’s Office extends its thoughts and prayers to the families affected by this appalling event and ask that the communities respect and support them in their time of grief," said Comanche County Sheriff Chris Pounds.
