Affidavit: Woman Attacked In Convenience Store Was Randomly Targeted

 

MIDLAND, TX -- Court documents have revealed new details regarding the attack of a woman inside a Midland convenience store.

According to CBS7, Daniel Anderson told investigators that he had attacked the woman with a baseball bat because "he hates all women of every race."

According to police, the victim was targeted at random. She was struck on the head repeatedly.

When police located Anderson at a DK gas station he was shirtless and had blood all over his pants.

During his arrest, he told police he would have escalated the attack to a sexual assault he had had the opportunity. He also stated he wanted to go to prison for a long time.

Anderson was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
