Parents Arrested After Toddler Found Dead

 

ABILENE, TX – A couple from Abilene was arrested Thursday after police found their 22-month-old infant dead inside their home. 

According to KTXS, on July 23, officers with Abilene Police Department found the baby inside of a house on the 5300 block of Taos.

D'Airess Fuller, Sr. , 24, and Telia Thomas, 24, were arrested and charged with injury to a child. APD says that the child was underweight and malnourished.

The two were booked into the Taylor County Jail. Together their bond is set at $150,000. 

APD is investigating the incident and charges may increase following what evidence they discover.
