San Angelo Woman Arrested in Connection to Ballinger Shooting

 

BALLINGER, TX —A Friday night drive-by shooting has led to the arrest of 21-year-old San Angelo woman.

According to the Ballinger Police Department, around 10:52 p.m. BPD was called to the Short Stop Convenience Store for reports of shots fired.

Witnesses at the scene told officers they had observed a white 2017 Ford car drive by a white pickup truck and began shooting.

According to witnesses, both vehicles left the store at a high rate of speed while residents heard multiple shots being fired. The suspects' vehicles eventually left the city limits and other agencies were informed of the suspect vehicles.

Upon County Sheriff Deputies eventually located the sedan and arrested Bethany Danielle Molina. The incident is still under investigation and further individuals may be charged in the coming days.

According to police, no injuries were reported, and the truck involved in the incident was recovered at Ballinger Lake.
