SAN ANGELO, TX – On Tuesday, January 7, the San Angelo Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a residence on Freeland Ave. following an outcry that was made by a juvenile who claimed she had been assaulted.
When units arrived on scene it was determined the victim called 911 after being intoxicated with methamphetamine and being sexually assaulted.
A forensic interview was conducted with the victim where officers learned the victim left her house after being picked up by an adult male "A.G.", two children, and two other individuals.
After stopping at several different locations the group ended up at "A.G.'s" residence where the victim came into contact with the defendant, Christopher G. Alford who was a roommate of A.G.
While at the residence the victim stated she had ingested marijuana, and what she believed to be methamphetamine and cocaine.
During the forensic interview the juvenile victim admitted that after ingesting the previously mentioned narcotics she went into the defendants bedroom where the defendant proceeded to assault her.
Later that day Alford was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail where he has been held on a $250,000 bond.
On May 19, 2020, Christopher G. Alford was indicted for one count of Sexual Assault of a Child which is a Second Degree Felony in the sate of Texas that carries a sentence including two to twenty years incarceration in a state prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
