Teen Shot When a Gun Fell Out of a Closet

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX — A 14-year-old was injured in an accidental shooting after a gun went off inside her home.

According to KTXS, around 1:00 a.m. on Monday a family member inside the home was grabbing something from the closet when the gun fell and discharged. The teen was shot in the left side of her chest and arm.

The teen was transported to the hospital in stable condition, but the injuries were later determined to be life-threatening.

Police are still investigating the incident.
