Amber Alert Issued for Toddler in North Texas

 

IRVING, TX – Authorities in north Texas have issued an amber alert for a 7-month-old girl.

Serenity Berry is believed to have been taken from her grandmother's house by her mother.

Irving police said in a news release that Serenity was taken by her mother in the 2900 block of West Pioneer Drive.

The child was last seen about 7 p.m. Sunday.

Serenity is black and has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white onesie and diamond stud earrings. She weighs 22 pounds.

Authorities say her mother, Jocelyn Nicole Bridges, was last seen wearing a multicolored shirt and blue leggings.

She has black hair with brown highlights and was last wearing it in braids, police said.

She was driving a blue Ford Focus with Texas license plate MGP8642.
