Teen in Critical Condition After Apartment Complex Shooting

 

ABILENE, TX — The Abilene Police Department has confirmed a victim in the Wednesday night shooting is in critical condition.

According to KTXS, the incident took place at the Indian Run Apartments around 10:00 p.m.

According to police, the incident began when two 17-year-old girls got into a fight at the swimming pool area of the complex. The fight ended with gunfire.

One of the girls was taken to the hospital last night with a severe injury from the gunshot wound and remains in critical condition.

The shooter will face charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police are working to locate the shooter.
