SAPD: Alleged Meth Dealer Shot on the Northside

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — SAPD has confirmed 28-year-old Mark P. Crawley has been charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 following a shooting investigation in a Northeast San Angelo neighborhood.

Shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Pulliam Street for the report of a shooting victim. When officers arrived at the scene, they located Crawley lying in the street with a gunshot wound.

During the search of the suspect and a warrant search of a residence on a 1600 block of Spaulding Street, officers located and seized nearly 23 grams of methamphetamine. 

After being transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries he was transported to the Tom Green County Jail without incident.

Crawley did not provide investigators with details about the circumstances of how he was shot.  

This is an ongoing investigation and there is no other information available for release at this time.

The shooter needs to improve his aim. This pillar of society will do a year or so in a cage, be released on parole and start slinging speed again before the ink is dry on the parole papers.
