Body of Illegal Alien Missing from Midland Found in the Rio Grande

MARFA, TX — The body of a 51-year-old Midland man was found along the Rio Grande on Saturday.

According to CBS7, the man, identified as Jesus Valenzuela Amaro, had been missing since Friday.

According to the Presidio County Sheriff's Office, authorities believe Amaro had reentered the country illegally after he was deported in April.

An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected at this time.
