Suspect Indicted for Improper Relations with a Teen

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A 44-year-old man was indicted in May by a Tom Green County grand jury for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl. 

According to court documents, on Dec. 20, 2018, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were called about a sexual assault that had taken place. 

Officers spoke with a witness who told them that a 16-year-old girl had been having sex with a 44-year-old man. The officers then spoke to the 16-year-old who stated that she went to Herman "Hermdog" Stanley III's house and they engaged in oral sex and sexual intercourse. 

Police then spoke with Stanley who admitted to the sexual activity. 

Stanley was arrested on Feb. 11 and was released the following day on a $25,000 bond. 

He was indicted for this charge on May 12.
