Suspect Surrenders After 3 Hour Standoff

 

ABILENE, TX -- An Abilene standoff ended late Friday night after the suspect surrendered.

According to KTXS, family members were involved in a domestic disturbance at the Hartford Village Mobile Home Park. 

According to police, the suspect involved in the stand-off exited the trailer and fired several shots. He then barricaded himself inside the trailer.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. the suspect exited the trailer with his hands in the air. The SWAT Team then entered the home and the suspect was transported to the hospital.

The name of the suspect and the charges he faces have not been released.
