Suspects Arrested in the Fatal Shooting of a Teen

ODESSA, TX – Two suspects have been arrested in Odessa in connection with the killing of a 17-year-old man.

According to CBS7, at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Saturday night Odessa Police officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Jackson for reports of a shooting.

At the scene, officers found the 17-year-old victim who was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. The teen succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.

During their investigation officers discovered the victim had been talking with people sitting in a Dodge Nitro when the driver shot him. The suspects were identified as 21-year-old Desmond Tuggle and 19-year-old Destiny Barrera.

Tuggle and Barrera were arrested in West Odessa n Sunday morning and have been charged with murder.
