Suspect Reportedly Killed in Armed Standoff Near Ft. McKavett

FORT MCKAVETT, TX – Law enforcement officers from several agencies have set up a perimeter around a small ranch near Ft. McKavett Wednesday night after an altercation between family members.

Social media reports at 11 a.m. indicate the suspect is dead. There is no official confirmation on his death.

All of his social media live video has been deleted. But we preserved some of it that you can watch here.

According to social media reports, the suspect, identified as 47-year-old Donny Leek, was involved in an altercation with his parents on the ranch. Social media live video shows Leek is armed with a rifle. Leek's video included the sound of a drone.

Leek said there was a Texas Ranger communicating with him.

Law enforcement from Schleicher County and Menard county along with the Texas Ranger and Department of Public Safety troopers have set up the perimeter.

Leek is seen in the live video shooting at the drone and ranting about Coronavirus, the government and corrupt law enforcement.

San Angelo LIVE! has a reporter on the way to the scene and has the entire social media live video.

We will be publishing portions of the video later.

More details on Leek's rage are here.

... of this same "Breaking News" report.
CVHP broke this news story seemingly at the same time SA Live did. SA Live's Headline reports "Suspect is Dead" but also says no conformation. CVHP reports that the last known communication with suspect was from a live Facebook feed that shows that the suspect drops his cellphone and shots were heard ... but no conformation on the condition of the suspect being reported dead! Hmmm...
I wonder which news source to believe at this point! Who knows? My thoughts are ... all of us have entered...
... and are all extras... in a New Episode
of " The Twilight Zone " or the " Outer Limits ".... WOW ... strange days ... indeed we are experiencing in the year 2020!
