ABILENE, TX – An Abilene man was arrested Saturday after police found him intoxicated and asleep inside of liquor store drive-thru facing the wrong direction.

According to KTXS, on May 9, officers with the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to a drive-thru liquor store on N 6th and Willis for the report of a drunk driver.

When police arrived, they found a black Toyota Tundra that was facing the wrong way in the drive-thru. Inside of the vehicle was 60-year-old Christopher Dubuc who was asleep behind the wheel.

Police claim as soon as they opened his door they could smell alcohol and that his eyes were blood shot.
