Wanted Fugitive Captured Barefoot and Intoxicated on the Northside

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department confirmed Thursday that the wanted fugitive who was allegedly involved in suspicious activity in the Southland area has been captured. 

As previously reported, on Tuesday, April 21, the SAPD issued a wanted notice for 44-year-old Raymond P. Hernandez. Hernandez was wanted for questioning about some suspicious activity in the Southland area as well as a number of warrants. Here is the story: SAPD Searching for Information on Wanted Fugitive

According to the San Angelo Police Department, on Wednesday officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 21st and Volney for the report of suspicious activity. 

The caller advised dispatch that one of San Angelo’s “Most Wanted” was on the street with a vehicle loaded up with property. Officers located Hernandez walking up the street barefoot.

Hernandez was exhibiting signs of intoxication and lied about his identity.

Hernandez was charged with public intoxication, failure to identify as a fugitive from justice, and had warrants for evading arrest, failure to identify by giving false info, four VPTA, no proof of financial responsibility, wrong plate on vehicle, no registration sticker, and no license plate. 

He remains in the Tom Green County Jail in lieu of a $5,584 bond.
