ABILENE, TX – A $500 reward is being offered by the Abilene Crime Stoppers for information that leads to the arrest of a babysitter accused of sexual assault.
Steven Avery Renfro, 19, of Eastland was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury in February on two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Indictment reports state that at the time of the assault Renfro was 15 years old when he sexually assaulted two boys ages 10 and 13 that he babysat in December of 2015.
Initial allegations were first made in September of 2018, but Police arrested Renfro in September of 2019. Renfro was later released on a $20,000 bond.
Steven Renfro is a black male, 5'7" in height, and weighs 180 lbs.
