Charges Enhanced for Lawn Mower Thief Who Stole From the Elderly

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- An 18-year-old suspect's charge theft charges were enhanced after he stole a lawnmower from a 75-year-old woman

According to SAPD, on March 23, 2020, 18-year-old Dallion Holt took possession of a riding lawn mower from a 75-year-old San Angelo woman, telling her he needed it to mow his grandmother’s grass and that he would return the mower the following day.

After several days, it was discovered Holt had sold the mower to a third party.  Thankfully, officers located the mower and returned it to the victim.

As a result of the follow-up investigation, a Detective with the San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigators Division obtained a warrant of arrest for Dallion Holt for the charge of Theft of Property >=$100<$750-ENHANCED.

Holt was booked and released from the Tom Green County the same day.
