UPDATE: Dorm Room Brawl Alleged Suspect Identified

SAN ANGELO, TX – A dorm room brawl broke out at Texan Hall on the Angelo State University campus Friday afternoon between multiple people.

According to scanner reports, on Mar. 27, officers with the Angelo State University Police Department were dispatched to Texan Hall after a fight was reported in one of the dorm rooms. 

As they arrived officers indicated that a shotgun could've been involved. 

Reporters on scene say one man was detained. 

Medics were called to the scene to treat a person with a possible broken nose. No other injuries were reported.

Scanner reports indicate at least one male and one female were involved.

ASU police interviewed several witnesses.

UPDATE MARCH 28 10:50 A.M.

The Angelo State Police Department has charged Jihan Kim for assault that caused bodily injury and criminal trespassing. 

He was booked into the Tom Green County Mar. 27 at 6:23 p.m. He was released at 9:58 p.m. on a $1,500 surety bond. 

UPDATE MARCH 31 3:30 P.M.

Public Court Records indicate the Angelo State University Police Department arrested another man on campus that day. 

Shane Stumpf was arrested for assault causing bodily injury. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
