San Angelo Man Indicted for Touching and Biting a 14-Year-Old

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo Man was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail Thursday night after being indicted on multiple charges stemming from an incident where he allegedly bit and inappropriately touched a teenage girl.

According to court documents, on May 27 2019, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to 4100 block of Wellington for the report of a welfare concern on a minor.

When the officers arrived they found a 14-year-old girl crawling out of a window to meet them. This is when officers learned that the girl had been bitten on the stomach. She also told officers she had been touched inappropriately by the man inside the residence.

The officers went to the door where they spoke with 25-year-old Khalil Brown. Brown stated that he did bite the child but denied putting his hands down her pants.

Brown was arrested that day and was charged with injury to a child. He was released two days later following a $25,000 bond.

A Tom Green County grand jury indicted Brown on the injury to a child  charge as well as indecency with a child by sexual contact. In the indictment for indecency it claims Brown touched the girl's breast. His bond is set at $50,000.
