Illegal Alien Arrested by Border Patrol is MS-13 Gang Member

ALPINE, TX – After arresting 16 undocumented immigrants in Brewster County, U.S. Border Patrol agents have identified one of the detainees as a known Mara-Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.

On March 6, San Angelo Live reported the apprehension of the 16 individuals who were identified as being native to Mexico and Guatemala. During the processing of the detainees, agents identified Irving Aldemar Diaz-Flores as a citizen of El Salvador.

Diaz-Flores had provided authorities with a false name and claimed to be from Guatemala. He has known ties and associations with the Ms-13 gang.

Diaz-Flores is being prosecuted for 8 USC 1325, Illegal Entry.  The remainder of the group is being processed according to applicable immigration laws.
