San Angelo CPS Worker Arrested for Heroin Possession

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo CPS worker has been arrested after deputies claim they found her in possession of heroin. 

On Thursday, Mar. 5, deputies with with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office arrested Jessica Treese, 40, for possession of a controlled substance. 

The public information officer of the Texas Department of Protective Services has confirmed that Treese is currently employed with the CPS office in San Angelo. 

Treese began working with the CPS in Oct. 2012 and was promoted to investigator in Aug. 2019. 

The public information officer says that Treese will be employed with them until an internal investigation has been completed. "The consequence could be up to termination." said the PIO. 

Treese was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and was booked into the Tom Green County Jail. She was released the same day after posting a $7,500 bond.
