Police Identify Man Found Dead in Red Arroyo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A San Angelo man located deceased in the Red Arroyo near Southwest Boulevard and Sherwood Way has been identified as 68-year-old Samuel Cisneros.

According to a press release, San Angelo Police and Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the area behind Enterprise Rent-A-Car, 2688 Southwest Boulevard, just before 9:30 a.m. for the report of a drowning.

Cisneros was pulled from the water and pronounced deceased at the scene by Justice of the Peace Eddie Howard.  No obvious signs of foul play were detected.  The cause and manner of death are undetermined.  Cisneros’s body was sent to Lubbock, Texas for autopsy.

This is an ongoing investigation and there is no additional information available for release at this time.
