CARLSBAD, TX – New information has been revealed regarding the murder that occurred Saturday in Carlsbad.
According to an affidavit, on February 15, deputies with the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 11500 block of Marshall st. for the report of a shooting victim.
When they arrived, the deputies found a man lying dead partially in the front yard and partially in the street. The affidavit states the man had two bullet holes which included gunshot wounds to the head and chest. The deputies spoke with the victim's girlfriend who told them that her brother, Justin Ramirez, had killed her boyfriend. She continued by informing deputies that the two had gotten into an argument and then "Justin Ramirez pulled out a handgun and fired an entire clip" at the victim. She finished by telling deputies her boyfriend "was dead because of my brother."
The parents of the two were asked about the incident and they claimed their son killed their daughter's boyfriend.
The affidavit concludes with the deputy describing San Angelo EMS hooking the victim up to an EKG machine but was declared deceased.

Ramirez's bond is set at $500,000.
