San Angelo Man Indicted for Promoting Lewd Images of Children

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Tom Green County Grand Jury indicted a San Angelo man in February for promoting child pornography. 

According to the indictment, on or around the 4th of June, Adam Stewart, 21, had in his possession with intent to promote lewd images of children by sharing them via the internet. 

The pictures allegedly depicted a child engaging in sexual conduct by simulating sexual intercourse and other images including the genitals. 

Stewart was arrested on February 14 and was booked into the Tom Green County Jail. He was released after a $20,000 surety bond.
