Two Students Killed in Texas A&M University Commerce Residence Hall Shooting

 

COMMERCE, TX  – The Texas A&M-Commerce University Police Department has confirmed that two students have been killed in a shooting Monday afternoon. 

According to KTXS, on January 3, officers with the TAMUCUPD were dispatched to the Pride Rock Residence Hall for the report of a shooting. 

Police have confirmed that three people were shot during the incident and two of them have died. 

The TAMUCU Campus was placed on a lockdown that lasted hours but now the lockdown has been lifted. 

It is unknown at this time of the state or identify of the suspected shooter.
