SAN ANGELO, TX – A suspect in a white vehicle led San Angelo Police officers on a chase through downtown San Angelo Thursday afternoon before being apprehended in an Alley near the Concho river.
Scanner traffic indicated the white Chevrolet passenger car sped away from officers who were attempting a traffic stop.

The driver wound around Irene St. and Rio Concho Dr. then traversed downtown on Oaks and Concho before turning back on S. Chadbourne. The suspect apparently turned into an alley near Irving St. and Ave. D. and abandoned the vehicle entering a nearby house.
Offices quickly set up a perimeter and took the suspect into custody.
SAPD Public Information Officer Tracy Piatt-Fox said at the scene they would release more information later.
