ABILENE, TX – After being stabbed by their classmate on Thursday morning, two 15-year-olds from Abilene High School are in stable condition.
According to KTXS, the primary victim and the 16-year-old suspect had a dispute that began last school year. The two students had been involved in a fight on Monday that led to the suspension of the suspect.
According to Police Chief Stan Standridge, the suspect was returning from a 3-day suspension when he met with the primary victim and two other students to “fight each other.”
The primary victim did not know the suspect was armed with a knife. According to Standridge the weapon was contained within the suspect's hand -- like brass knuckles -- only it had a 4-6" long sharp object attached to it.
When the suspect punched the primary victim he caused “four to five punctures/slashes." The second victim was stabbed in the upper torso, causing serious bodily injury. According to authorities the second friend that accompanied the primary victim shot video of the incident that is now circulating on social media.
The suspect was arrested at his home and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
The video has surfaced and a SA LIVE! viewer has found it. Here it is:
