Police: Suspect Kidnapped Girlfriend & Assaulted Man Who Tried to Stop Him

 

ODESSA, TX – Police are searching for 32-year-old Jonathan Castillo after authorities say he kidnapped his girlfriend and assaulted a man who attempted to rescue her.

According to CBS7, the man who was attacked called police to report that he watched Castillo attack a woman and force her into a vehicle while she was screaming. The man tried to intervene, but he was attacked, and Castillo drove away.

Odessa Police officers later located the woman at a hotel and she confirmed that Castillo was her boyfriend and that he had taken her against her will.
