SAN ANGELO, TX – A 33-year-old San Angelo man was arrested Tuesday night after he was indicted for continuously molesting children under the age of 14.
According to the indictment, in the July term of 2019, a Tom Green County grand jury indicted Michael Sanchez, 33, for continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.
The charges came after the San Angelo Police Department found two separate instances where Sanchez had allegedly molested children.
The molestations allegedly occurred between January of 2010 thorough April of 2018. Sanchez is accused of touching a child under the age of 14 genitals. He also made the same girl and another child under the age of 14 touch his genitals. These acts allegedly happened more than twice in between these months.
Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on January 7 at 8:23 p.m. He remains jailed and his bond is set at $100,000.
