SAPD: 16-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Shooting 14-Year-Old Boy

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – San Angelo Police Department has arrested a 16-year-old male in connection to the shooting of a 14-year-old on the 1600 block of Volney Street.

When police responded to the scene, they found a the 14-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds and he was transported to the hospital. SAPD asked for the public’s help in identifying any individual involved or had pertinent information regarding the incident. Police have not released information on the current condition of the shooting victim other than to indicate that his is still alive.

Shortly after 8 p.m. SAPD announced that the Criminal Investigations Division had charged the a teen with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon. Police do not usually identify the victim or suspect if either is a minor unless the underaged suspect will be tried as an adult.
