An Arrest at 11:59 p.m. Tops the NYE Booking Report

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Fourteen suspects were arrested and booked into the Tom Green County Jail on Tuesday.

The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, the San Angelo Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety made various arrests including:

  • Rodney Titus was arrested for two MISC CPF and one MISC FTA at 11:59 p.m. His bond was set at $482 and was released at 9:43 a.m.
  • Gabriel Luna was arrested for GOB arson of a building/habitation that caused reckless damage and GOB possession of a controlled substance at 2:41 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Hector Acosta was arrested for MISC contempt of court by non payment of child support at 12:00 a.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 11:58 a.m.

Out of the 446 beds, 425 inmates are currently in jail as of Wednesday morning. 

The following were booked into the TGCJ on Tuesday:

  • Becky Bird was arrested for DWLI and no proof of financial responsibility at 12:19 a.m. Her bond was set at $1,224 and was released at 1:58 a.m. 
  • Steve Castandea was arrested for no headlights on a bicycle, bicycle on the wrong side of the roadway, and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:32 a.m. His bond was set at $1,370 and was released at 1:58 a.m. 
  • Alexander Piatt was arrested for DWLI with previous conviction at 7:52 a.m. His bond was set at $500 and was released at 9:58 a.m. 
  • Marcus Uresti was arrested for possession of marijuana at 9:14 a.m. His bond was set at $1,000 and was released at 11:28 a.m. 
  • Justin Woods was arrested for GJI unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, and MTR possession of a controlled substance at 10:14 a.m. His bond is set at $5,000. 
  • Orlando Joshua Salazar was arrested for DWLI with a previous conviction and displaying fictitious license plate at 10:23 a.m. His bond was set at $802 and was released at 11:28 a.m. 
  • Gabriel Luna was arrested for GOB arson of a building/habitation that caused reckless damage and GOB possession of a controlled substance at 2:41 p.m. His bond has not been set at this time. 
  • Bess Haugh was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance at 3:01 p.m. Her bond is set at $1,000. 
  • Elizabeth Usery was arrested for assault that caused bodily injury to a family member at 3:31 p.m. Her bond is set at $2,500. 
  • Bertland Butler was arrested for FTA failure to maintain financial responsibility at 7:25 p.m. He was released without bond at 10:43 p.m. 
  • Jerry Ekert was arrested for MISC DWLI, MISC no vehicle registration, MISC speeding 15-24 miles over posted speed limit, and three MISC VPTA at 10:27 p.m. His bond was set at $3.550 and was released Wednesday at 2:13 a.m. 
  • Jimmy Perez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:47 p.m. His bond is set at $642. 
  • Rodney Titus was arrested for two MISC CPF and one MISC FTA at 11:59 p.m. His bond was set at $482 and was released at 9:43 a.m.
