20-Year-Old Indicted for Salacious Acts with a Minor at a Local Park

SAN ANGELO, TX – A Tom Green County grand jury has indicted 20-year-old Luis Delgado Jr. on child sex crimes. 

As previously reported on Oct. 9, officers with the San Angelo Police Department responded to a sexual assault of a child call. Here is the story: 19-Year-Old Arrested for Performing Lewd Acts with a Minor at a Local Park 

When they arrived, the officers met with the juvenile victim's mother who told them of the assault. A forensic interview was performed with the victim. During the interview she stated that on Oct. 6 she and Delgado had sex at a local park. 

Five days later, the officers met with Delgado who admitted to the allegations. 

He was arrested on Oct. 22 and was charged with sexual assault of a child. He was released the following day after making the $25,000 surety bond. 

Since his Indictment, Delgado has been assigned an attorney and has been placed on the docket. His initial pre-trial begins on Jan. 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
