Daycare Worker Indicted for Inappropriately Touching Children

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A local daycare worker has been indicted by a Tom Green County grand jury for continously sexually abusing a child while he was at work. 

As previousily reported, on May 5, officers with the San Angelo Police Department arrested 20-year-old Cristian Esquivel after a child made an outcry about being abused by him. Here's the story: Daycare Worker Arrested For Continuous Sexual Abuse of a 4-Year-Old 

The child stated that it started on February 14 when Esquivel touched the child underneath her clothes while at the daycare. 

The final time that the abuse occurred was on April 18. The child told officers that on this day Esquivel used his hand to touch the child's buttocks underneath the clothes. 

According to the affidavit, the child was only four years of age. 

He was booked into the Tom Green County Jail on May 5 and was released two days later on a $75,000 surety bond. 

Esquivel has a post indictment reporting hearing scheduled for January 8 at 8:30 a.m.
