SAPD Officers Recover Stolen Vehicle of Legendary Restaurant Owner

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Officers with the San Angelo Police Department recovered a stolen vehicle that belonged to the owner of Zentner's Daughter Steakhouse Tuesday. 

On Dec. 17, officers with the San Angelo Police Department recovered a stolen car owned by Betty Zentner, owner of Zentner's Daughter Steakhouse. The legendary restaurant owner thanked the Department on her Facebook page yesterday.

Chief Frank Carter responded by confirming the arrest of three out of the four suspects in the theft. 

The following day the San Angelo Police Department confirmed that three men were arrested that night on the 100 block of South Bell after foot pursuit. Police claim that Jett Aguirre, 18, Jaden Turner-Simpson, 18, and a 13-year-old male ran on foot after being caught in a stolen vehicle. The three were arrested and charged with various crimes. 

Aguirre is charged with possession of a dangerous drug and possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail on Dec. 17 at 11:06 p.m. and was released the following day on a $2,000 bond at 2:13 a.m.

Turner Simpson is charged with evading arrest and possession of marijuana. He was booked into jail on Dec. 17 at 9:45 p.m. and was released the following day on a $1,500 bond at 2:13 a.m.

The juvenile is charged with evading arrest and possession of marijuana.

The restaurant is legendary. Betty's dad owned it and she took over after his death. Zentner's Daughter will be greatly missed in this town.
