Wanted Porch Pirate Turns Himself in After Being Caught on Film

SAN ANGELO, TX – The porch pirate that the San Angelo Police Department was looking for turned himself in on Saturday.

As previously reported, on December 5, the SAPD sent out a notice seeking information about a porch pirate that stole multiple presents off of someone's porch. Here's is the story: WATCH: Porch Pirate Caught on Camera Stealing Birthday Presents

A few days later, police were able to determine the identity of the suspect as 20-year-old John Cusson-Walker thanks to a video of Cusson-Walker allegedly walking away from the porch with the packages. Check out the video here.

After the suspect was identified and publicized, Cusson-Walker turned himself in. This is when an interview with the Criminal Investigations Division was held and Cusson-Walker was arrested.

Cusson-Walker is charged with theft of mail. His bond is set at $7,500.
