Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting in Big Spring

 

BIG SPRING, TX – Officers with the Big Spring Police Department have officially arrested the suspect who is allegedly responsible for shooting and killing a man there Wednesday. 

According to CBS 7, on Dec. 11, police responded to the 300 block of San Jacinto at 10:35 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim. 

When they arrived they found Chandon Davlin, 29, dead on the ground with an apparent gun shot wound. 

Further investigation revealed that Brian Lewis, 35, allegedly shot and killed Dalvin. A warrant was issued and just after midnight on Sunday Lewis was arrested in the 1000 block of East 6th Street.

Lewis is charged with murder, terroristic threat, and theft of property. He is currently in the Howard County Jail.
