WATCH: Crash at Dangerous North San Angelo Intersection Sends Driver to the Hospital

SAN ANGELO, TX – An elderly woman was reportedly hospitalized after a Ford F-250 pickup crashed into a red Nissan Rogue at the intersection of N. Bryant Blvd. and 19th St. in north San Angelo Monday morning.

According to scanner reports, it appears the Nissan Rogue T-boned the F-250 in the crash.

Watch video from the scene:

The driver of the Nissan was transported to the hospital by ambulance with undisclosed injuries.

Scanner reports indicate the Nissan driver was having chest pains after the air bags deployed.

Initial reports said one vehicle left the scene and was found behind a nearby restaurant but that report is unconfirmed.

According to the scanner, one suspect fled the scene on foot and was described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hoodie with yellow lettering but that report is unconfirmed at this time.

San Angelo Police Department traffic division officers at the scene say no citations have been issued at this time because the crash is still under investigation.
