Legendary Texas Ranger Sworn in as Chief Deputy of Tom Green County

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office welcomes its newest employee, Nick Hanna. The newly hired Chief Deputy was sworn in by Sheriff Jones and presented with his badge after taking the traditional oath of office.

Chief Deputy Hanna began his law enforcement career in 1989 with the Big Spring Police Department. He was employed by Brady Police Department before starting with Texas Department of Public Safety. Chief Deputy Hanna retired after serving 24 years with the Texas Department of Public Safety, with the last 16 year as a Texas Ranger. Chief Deputy Hanna brings with him more than of 30 years of law enforcement experience.

Chief Deputy Hanna's wife, Kelly, had the honor of pinning on his chief deputy badge.

The Sheriff's Office would like to welcome its newest employee and wishes him a great career with the Sheriff's Office.
