Saloon Brawl Turns into Stabbing on Black Friday

 

ABILENE, TX -- A man was arrested this morning for stabbing another person in the neck during a bar fight. 

According to KTXS, on November 29, at around 1:45 a.m. officers with the Abilene Police Department were dispatched to the Longbranch Saloon and Grill for the report of a fight. 

During the fight, police say 22-year-old Merced Harris stabbed another person multiple times in the body and neck.  

The victim was rushed to the hospital. 

Harris was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He is currently in the Taylor County Jail.
