ABILENE, TX – Donn Patrick Bowen, 49, was arrested after he allegedly shot a dog and fired at the owner behind the Frontier Inn at Pine Street and I-20.
According to KTXS, the women told police that Bowen shot her dog and then aimed at her. He fired the gun once, missed, and then allegedly ran away.
Police found a black BB gun at the scene, and the victim claimed she believed the BB gun was “a real firearm.”
Bowen was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and has a bond of $15,000.
