Police Identify Suspect In Deadly Stabbing

 

ODESSA, TX – Odessa Police Department have identified Michael Leldon Shults,37, as the man who murdered Roy Reeves, 57.

According to CBS7, OPD officers responded to a call on Monday afternoon around 6:44 p.m. for what they believed to be a disturbance. When they arrived to the home, they found Reeves with several stab wounds to the chest. Reeves was rushed to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.

Shults was found in the backyard of the house and the investigation revealed that there had been a disturbance that led Shults to stab Reeves several times with a knife.

Shults has been charged with murder.
