WATCH: Indictment Comes Down on Man Who Hid in Bank's Ceiling

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The indictment has came in for the man who was arrested for breaking into the BBVA Compass.

According to court documents, On June 25 at around 2:00 a.m. the San Angelo Police Department was dispatched to 4112 College Hills Blvd for a burglary in progress.

When they arrived they found a lot of things that were not normal such as broken windows, blankets on windows, and office supplies scattered everywhere.

An hour and a half passed and police found 39-year-old James Trego. Police used their K-9 unit Xander to find Trego in the ceiling.

Later in the morning employees began to show up and see what happened the night before. Here is the video.

"He practically lived here for a few hours," said one of the owners from Relative Marketing. "He put blankets on the window, ate our pizza, and even changed into one of our old jumpsuits."

Trego's usual appearance according to his Facebook is a beard but after the night at BBVA he has a bald face. "One of the worst parts about it was that he used our scissors to cut his hair and then left it behind," said the owner.

One of the other main objectives of Trego was to steal blank checks from each of the businesses along with other financial information. He also attempted to steal laptops and other valuables.

His demise happened when he turned off the breakers to the bank down stairs and the alarms went off.

Trego was arrested for burglary of a building and was released on a $20,000 PR bond on September 24.

His initial pretrail begins December 3 at 2:00 p.m.
